Arizona preliminary twenty-day notice

In Arizona, everyone who furnishes labor or materials (including the general contractor, but not wage employees) must serve this notice within 20 days after first furnishing to the jobsite. Without it you have no lien. If you serve it late, your lien covers only what you furnished in the 20 days before you served it and afterward (A.R.S. § 33-992.01). If the property is a home the owner lives in (one or two family), only a contractor with a written contract directly with the owner has lien rights; subcontractors and suppliers on that job do not, even with this notice (A.R.S. § 33-1002).

Flat fee of $49. Your instructions say who receives it, how, and by when.
