Kentucky notice of intention to hold property liable

If you did not contract directly with the owner, Kentucky requires a written notice to the owner of your intent to hold the property liable, stating the amount claimed, within 120 days after your last work (75 days if the claim is under $1,000 or the property is an owner-occupied one- or two-family home). Without it there is no lien. On an owner-occupied home, send it as early as you can: the lien does not reach anything the owner paid the contractor before receiving your notice (KRS 376.010).

Flat fee of $49. Your instructions say who receives it, how, and by when.
