Nebraska notice of right to assert lien
In Nebraska this notice is optional. It matters only when the owner is an individual who lives, or plans to live, in a home of up to four units on the property, and only if you did not contract directly with that owner. In that case your lien is limited to what the owner still owes the prime contractor when the notice arrives, so sending it early protects more of your claim (Neb. Rev. Stat. §§ 52-135, 52-136). On commercial work, or if you contracted directly with the owner, this notice is not needed.
Flat fee of $49. Your instructions say who receives it, how, and by when.
