North Carolina notice to lien agent

In North Carolina, on an improvement costing $40,000 or more (other than an existing owner-occupied single-family home), the owner must designate a lien agent. Every potential lien claimant, including the general contractor, must have its Notice to Lien Agent received within 15 days after first furnishing. A later notice still lets the lien be perfected if received before a sale of the property to a good-faith buyer is recorded, but the lien is then subordinate to any deed of trust recorded before the notice (N.C. Gen. Stat. §§ 44A-11.1, 44A-11.2).

Flat fee of $49. Your instructions say who receives it, how, and by when.
