Oregon notice of right to a lien
In Oregon, a claimant who did not furnish at the owner’s request must give the owner a Notice of Right to a Lien. It can be given at any time, but it covers only work furnished from 8 business days before it is delivered or mailed, so give it within 8 business days of first furnishing (ORS 87.021). Labor, labor and materials, and equipment rental on a commercial improvement are exempt.
Flat fee of $49. Your instructions say who receives it, how, and by when.
