Tennessee notice of nonpayment

Tennessee does not use a start-of-job notice. Remote contractors (anyone who did not contract with the owner) on property other than one- to four-family residential units must serve a notice of nonpayment within 90 days after the end of each month in which work was furnished and not paid, on the owner and on the prime contractor they are in contract with. Each notice states the amount owed as of its date and the last date you worked. Missing it can cost the lien (Tenn. Code Ann. § 66-11-145). This page prepares that monthly notice.
