Vermont notice of lien

In Vermont, a subcontractor or supplier who did not contract with the owner has a lien only after giving the owner written notice that a lien will be claimed. The lien then reaches only the amount the owner still owes its contractor when the notice arrives, so giving it early protects more of your claim (9 V.S.A. § 1921(b)). Contractors hired directly by the owner do not need this notice.

Flat fee of $49. Your instructions say who receives it, how, and by when.
